The radionuclide therapy department is designed for targeted therapy. The therapy with application od radioactive iodine (131I) is performed in this building.
Radioiodine is used for treatment of severe forms of thyroid cancer, thyrotoxicosis and hyperthyroidism in patients with high-risk surgery and medication intolerance.
